Description
There are many VERY practical uses for handheld laser thermometers in a grow room!
How hot are your lights running? Is there much heat coming from the ballasts - may be time to get extension cables for them so you can put them outside the grow room. Or maybe, one ballast is running hotter than the others. A quick laser shot with the infrared thermometer can tell you straight away!
Water and Reservoir Temperatures - get quick and accurate temperature readings can be obtained on liquids or liquid containers. You want to be shooting between 15 to no more than 23 degrees celsius max!
Foliage Temperature - VPD stands for vapour pressure deficit. This is your temperature, humidity & leaf temperature in one reading. You use this to determine how well plants are going to transpire. The rate of transpiration directly impacts nutrient absorption, translocation & growth.
