The HI-9814 boasts many advanced features that are usually found in more expensive portable meters, including automatic calibration, buffer/standard recognition and temperature compensation. On-screen tutorial messages and indicators for the calibration status and stability can be viewed on the large multi-level LCD display.
What you get:
- HI-9814 is supplied with HI-1285-7 multi-parameter probe
- HI-50036 Quick Cal buffer solution sachet (3)
- HI-700661 pH electrode cleaning solution sachet for agriculture (3)
- 1.5 AAA batteries (3)
- Instructions and instrument quality certificate
The HI-9814 is supplied complete with the HI-1285-7 specialist electrode that features the following key benefits:
- Pre-amplified pH electrode - prevents interference from humidity and sources of electrical noise including circulating pumps, motors and ballasts from grow lights.
- Amperometric EC/TDS sensor - EC/TDS readings are performed by a two-pin amperometric sensor, best suited to low conductivity applications
- Built-in temperature sensor - readings of pH and EC/TDS must be temperature compensated in order to obtain accurate results. The built-in temperature sensor provides a speedy temperature reading which is then used to adjust the pH and EC/TDS results accordingly for higher accuracy.
- Polypropylene body - the durable body of the HI-1285-7 electrode is chemically resistant to many aggressive chemicals used in hydroponics and protects all three sensors.
- DIN Connector - the HI-1285-7 has been specifically designed for use with the HI-9814 meter, the DIN connector means the probe is not interchangeable.
