When white is the better choice
Small tents. Less distance for light to travel means hotspots are more likely, and diffusion
helps. Worth considering across the small grow tents range.
Powerful LEDs close to the canopy. Diffuse walls soften the intensity at the edges.
Rooms that run warm. The difference is marginal, but it is in the right direction.
If you inspect plants often. Silver glare under a full-spectrum LED is genuinely unpleasant -
also worth looking at grow room glasses.
When silver still wins
Tall tents where light has to travel, and setups where you want every last photon at the canopy. Most tents
sold in the UK are silver for a reason - it is not a bad choice, just a different one.
