LEDs driven by a HPS ballast are a popular option right now and are a great "bridge LED" for those looking to move away from HPS and are on a budget. However, be mindful these come at the expense of cheaper components that will degrade faster (less PPFD output over time). Connect the Varidrive power pack directly or remotely with an IEC extension lead. Measuring just 1100 x 1000 x 102mm, it saves space in your 1.5 x 1.5m area.
Another very underrated feature is that you can remove the bars from the frame and run them remote via an IEC cable! in short, if you wanted, you could remove all the bars and put them anywhere you want in your room (provided you have an IEC cable long enough to go from the frame to where you want).
